On the day of Republic, i.e., 26 Jan 2021, webinar on Skin Donation was scheduled by Dadhichi Deh Dan Samiti (DDDS). Under the hosting of Shri Mahesh Pant, Samiti was briefly introduced by Samiti’s President Shri Harsh Malhotra, followed by motivational words by Samiti’s Patron, Shri Alok Kumar.

Dr. R. P. Narayan - main guest and key speaker who is Consultant, Professor & HOD, Burns and Plastic department at Vardhman Mahavir Medical College (VMMC), Safdarjung Hospital, covered various aspects of Skin donation in a very easy understandable language.

Apart from covering the What, Why and How of Skin Donation, following points were also covered:

• Skin Wounds
• Statistics of Burnt patients
• Equipment that enable Skin Donation
• Legal Framework

Dr. cleared many myths also, around skin donation. He concluded the session with the Shlok of Bhagwat Gita.
