The 59th Varshik Mahotsav of Dadhichi Dehdaan Samiti, Gurugram Unit, was successfully organized on 20th April 2025 at Dronacharya Government College, Gurugram.

The programme commenced at 9:30 a.m. with tea and light refreshments, followed by the tilak ceremony and a screening of the short film Phir Zindagi.

The formal proceedings began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Sh. Mahesh Pant ji, President of the Samiti, along with other distinguished guests. Dr. Pushpa Antil, Principal of the host institution, extended a warm welcome to all attendees.

R.K. Hall was filled to capacity with an enthusiastic audience of over 200 participants from all age groups. Engaging and emotionally resonant speeches were delivered by Mukhya Vaqta and Patron Sh. Harsh Malhotra, President Sh. Mahesh Pant, Mahamantri Sh. Vishal Chadha, Prof. Sheetal Joshi (Lady Hardinge Medical College), Sh. Kanahiya Lal ji (Mantri, Paropkarini Sabha, Ajmer), and recipient Col. Raangi. Their addresses highlighted the spiritual, medical, and humanistic dimensions of body and organ donation, inspiring many to consider pledging for this noble cause.

A special highlight of the event was the moving felicitation of donor families, gracefully conducted by Smt. Manju Prabha ji. The number of families honored and the impressive count of new pledge-takers reflected the growing impact of the Samiti’s mission.

The programme concluded around 1:00 p.m. with a community lunch, which was warmly appreciated by all attendees.

The Gurugram Unit expresses its heartfelt gratitude to all supporters, volunteers, and guests for making the event a resounding success.
